Hand-Building Pottery Taster Class with Lucas Buttchewits

Join ceramic artist Lucas Buttchewits for a creative, hands-on introduction to pottery. In this relaxed workshop, you’ll explore traditional hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab building to shape your own tableware or decorative pieces.

You’ll also learn how to decorate your creations using leaves and flowers to imprint natural textures, and paint your pieces with coloured slip to add character and personality before glazing.

Lucas will guide you through every step of the process - from forming and decorating to understanding how your work will be glazed and kiln-fired.

All materials, tools, and firings are included, and your favourite  piece will be ready for collection a few weeks later.
